Thanks again for visiting me! If you enjoyed my site, then here are some other links to some other sites that you might enjoy!
Mimi Matsuda is a Bozeman resident & watercolor artist that focuses on birds and fish. These are two of the most important members of our local ecosystems. Her work is featured in local fly shops as well as in some galleries in Jackson Hole. I spent several years working with her as a ranger naturalist in Yellowstone and Mimi is one of the most talented artists I've ever met.
Hobie Hare is a naturalist and a photographer that lives in Montana. He is another one of the amazing folks that I've met while working in Yellowstone. He's got some great photos that I'm sure you'll enjoy!
Gustav W. Verderber is a professional photographer from Vermont and I was lucky to spend some time with him during the summer of '03 when he worked in Yellowstone. He is one of those people that I was able to learn a lot from. He's also an author and a committed naturalist. He has a new book coming out that tells you how to photograph Yellowstone. Keep an eye out for it!
Here it is!! This is the Official Website for the World's First National Park, Yellowstone! The National Park Idea was and remains one of the best ideas we've ever had in this country. Yellowstone is also a World Heritage site, meaning the world recognizes it's importance to human culture. If you are planning a visit, then this is the first website you'll want to check out!
Ralph Maughan is at the forefront of wildlife advocacy and issues in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. He provides great insight and information on what's going on. If you have an interest in what's going on with the local wildlife, then his site is definitely worth a look.
This is the Penguin Reserve in Dunedin New Zealand! This is also where I photographed all of the Yellow-Eyed Penguins that are in my galleries. If you are interested in what they do and how they do it, then check out their website. Also if you're going to be in the Dunedin area, do yourself a favor and take their tour!
Rainbow Springs is a terrific wildlife center in Rotorua, New Zealand! A must if you are interested in wildlife and happen to find yourself in that area. They run the Kiwi Encounter there, where you can see a live Kiwi or two, and they will also take you into their program involved in trying to protect the symbol of New Zealand.
As a hunter, photographer, fisherman, outdoor enthusiast, etc. I believe that our wild lands have infinite value. We are unfortunately at a time in our history when our wild lands are disappearing faster than ever, and the threats facing those lands are on the increase. Therefore if you value those areas at all, I would encourage you to get involved in some way!

Wayne Wolfersberger is an experienced and talented photographer from Northern Virginia. He has been a Yellowstone Park Ranger Naturalist for over a decade and is well known for spending countless hours in the field. He is a retired biology and earth science teacher that currently teaches basic and nature photography classes including workshops for the beginner and more advanced students in the Washington DC area. He has not only been a great friend but also a great mentor for me as well.

YCG is a locally founded & based wilderness advocacy group. Like myself, they believe that the future of the wildness and ecological health of Yellowstone Country rests in the hands of our local communities. They are about being an agent of positive change by providing an inclusive platform for those typically not involved with the environmental, conservation and wilderness movement. If you are interested in helping protect the uniqueness of Yellowstone Country, their website is a great place to start.
